For the Non-Vegetarian people, there are lots of options to eat in the Keto diet but for vegetarians, the options are very less and also the foods don’t contain first-class protein.

There are several dangers related to the Keto diet. Since carbohydrate is the source of energy for the biological functions of the body, eating less carbohydrate will show various adverse effects on the body. Here is the list of the problems associated with the Keto diet.
1. Carbohydrate gives you the energy for the basic functions of the body. If you go for the Keto diet then the body will be deprived of the energy source and you can feel several problems regarding them.
2. Lack of carbohydrates can cause you to fall the blood sugar level and thus you can suffer from weakness, vertigo, and some other problems too.
3. Since Ketone bodies are broken to supply the required energy for the basic functions of your body, traces of Ketone bodies will be found in your urine. A higher amount of Ketone body in the urine will cause Ketonuria.
4. Excessive intake of protein will put pressure on the kidney, liver, and other digestive organs which can cause malfunctions of these organs. On the other hand, due to excessive protein digestion and filtration, your kidney may fail in the long run.
5. There are high chances of the formation of stone in the kidney due to excessive protein intake. On the other hand, if you are not able to digest the protein, then it can cause gas, indigestion as well as cardiac problems too.
6. There are some problems related to mental imbalance. Since our brain gets energy from carbohydrates, the stoppage of carbohydrate intake will cause you emotional imbalance, mood swings, and so on.
7. A sense of hunger will always be there in you since carbohydrate helps to secrete the hormone that makes you feel full.
